The White Rabbit and the Maid...

I haven't made a base art for a while, and I recently discovered that made some rather beautiful Kuroshitsuji bases, and who was I to resist.

Also in this picture, Claire Henwood, my OC, is a maid for the Red Queen, or the Queen of Hearts, I can't remember her name.
And I will not be using their names, in this Claire is called The Maid and Sebastian is the White Rabbit.

Anyway, I'll make a quick prompt below. I'm sorry if Sebastian is out of character, I've never actually wrote his character properly before.

She stood outside once again, sweeping the dirt as if it was important, her forehead sweating as she stared down at the dirt that refused to be gone. She couldn't believe she was doing this, but another rediculous order from her lady, the Red Queen made sure she achieved her task. How was she going to remove dirt from a dirt covered garden?!

The Maid was a young woman with platinum blonde hair tied in a ponytail with a black band and black eyes, her sleeves rolled up from her red and black maid uniform, sweat trickling down her acarred left cheek from the work she had been trying to complete all morning.

"Perhaps having tea with the Mad Hatter was a good idea, after all..." She mused to herself as she stopped and leaned against the broom, letting out a deep sigh as she took a small break. "After all, it will be quite some time before my task is complete, and a good cup of tea sounds marvelous right now..."

A small blur of motion caught her eye and she hummed, turning her head to the right to spot a pair of white rabbit ears over the top of the tall hedges. "Oh?" She exclaimed, straightening up as the rabbit ears moved until they were under the arch, now shown as a rather attractive tall man wearing all black, save for his bushy white tail and rabbit ears.

The White Rabbit turned his head, met her gaze dead on with his blood red eyes concealed behind elegant frames, before turning his head away once more, his black hair swaying slightly in the movement. "I mustn't keep my master waiting..." He spoke aloud, pulling out a silver pocket watch and looking at the time.

The Maid was surprised to see someone similar to the Hare, especially someone who looked far more elegant than the mad man himself. "Maybe this is the 'White Rabbit' Mad Hatter was talking about..." She concluded, blinking when he began moving again.

Curiosity overtook her and she left her broom, silently walking over to the hedges and watching the white rabbit as he continued.

Maybe there were others she had never seen before. It had been quite some time since she left the palace, she could use this as an excuse at least.

Without further hesitation, she continued to follow the elegant creature as he continued.

Hours had passed and The Maid was thoroughly exhausted, she was now trecking through mud, still following the White Rabbit, who luckily hadn't noticed her presence yet. She sighed when she finally found the path and stayed a safe distance behind the White Rabbit, however, she made a fatal error.

She blinked.

Darkness overtook her for merely a second, and when she opened her eyes, the shadowed figure of the White Rabbit, who had been blocking the light at the end of the dark forest was gone. "Eh?" She blinked again, assuming it was a trick of the light, but the rabbit didn't return. "He was right there..."

She hummed and stroked her chin, musing to herself, unaware that she had left the forest. "I'm sure I sa-ahh!"

The Maid slipped and came back to reality just in time to see herself dip, slipping off the edge of a cliff and skidding down the side of the steep surface towards the sharp rocks of the ocean below. "Ahh!" She screamed, closing her eyes as her foot caught on the rocks and she was send rolling, before falling straight down, head first, towards those deadly rocks.

She squeezed her eyes shut and awaited death.

However she felt herself collide with a solid surface and the air left her lungs, before she no longer felt like she was falling, it almost felt like she was soaring through the air. Gripping without opening her eyes, she felt fabric beneath her fingers and gasped, her eyes snapping open to see the face of the White Rabbit, smiling down at her, amusement lighting his ungodly red eyes.

The Maid blinked, her mind not actually able to understand this, before she looked down and a rather unladylike curse left her, her arms locking around the White Rabbit's shoulder as she noted how far it was to the ocean, and how they were falling towards it.

"You were following me..." The White Rabbit said, his lips by her ears as his rather alluring voice filled her horrified mind. She blinked with surprise when he landed on the sharpest tip of a rock without injury, ducking down with elegance against the drop, before straightening up, a Red Maid gathered in his arms.

This is when The Maid thought it best to start blushing, opening her mouth to explain, however no words came out.

What could she say? She had been following him, and he had just saved her life.

I thought this was pretty cute and funny. :/ Must just be me. XD
